The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

s I smoked old Italian cigar (which I do once in a 3 years max during some kind of ‘crisis’) on our cold porch today, I could not help but think about the GOOD, the BAD and the UGLY that this pandemic will ‘do’ to us, our relationships with our spouses, friends, kids, loved ones and others.

We all try to stay and be optimistic and see and do the best we can, however I do want to acknowledge that this does take a toll on all of us. It is not just socio-economic consequences, not just financial or losses and deaths, but it is those simple ones that we all feel but afraid and ashamed to say out loud..

It is OK to mourn for the loss of that freedom to get out of the house, to have some time for yourself, to get together with friends, the urge to go on holidays and not being able to do so etc etc etc, fill it in for yourself….

It does not make us a lesser or less caring human being, it does not make us cold or inconsiderate or ungrateful, it simply gives us that space to be individual human beings with its emotions, passions and sadness.

It is OK!

Virtual warm hug to everyone who feel they way they feel, whatever that way may be…..
