When you're shopping for makeup and you can't find an EpiLynx product in a particular category, here's how to audit any label:
Step 1: Search for fragrance first
Scan ingredients for: fragrance, parfum, linalool, limonene, geraniol, citronellol, eugenol, cinnamal. If any of these appear, put it back. Even one fragrance allergen is a problem for reactive skin.
Step 2: Check for gluten
Search for: hydrolyzed wheat protein, Triticum vulgare, Hordeum vulgare, Avena sativa, tocopherol (without a non-wheat source noted), malt extract, Secale cereale. Any of these present? Skip it if you have celiac or wheat allergy.
Step 3: Look at preservatives
