Long wear without the drying: Most long-wear lip formulas buy their staying power with alcohol. This one contains none — so it wears comfortably from morning to night instead of leaving lips tight and flaking.

Nine shades, three of them uniquely yours: Six are true tints that go on as a sheer wash and build to full color. Midnight Magic, Glow Up and Barely Blushing react to the warmth and pH of your lips, so the final shade settles differently on everyone.

Vegan without the asterisk: Most red lip color gets its shade from carmine — crushed insects. Ours doesn't. No carmine, no beeswax, no lanolin.

Gluten-free, nut-free and coconut-free: Lip color is the one cosmetic you gradually swallow. The color-shifting shades: Apply to bare lips and give it a full 60 seconds — the shade develops and deepens as it reacts to your lips.
To make it last even longer: Blot once, then apply a second thin layer.
Before first use: Patch test behind your ear and wait 30 minutes.

Ingredients

What's inside

Trimethylsiloxysilicate

The film-former that makes this a stain rather than a gloss. It sets into a flexible, breathable layer that binds pigment to your lips, so the color stays on you and not on your coffee cup.

Dimethicone

Gives the formula its glide and a cushioned, weightless feel. It is the reason long wear here doesn't mean a tight, papery finish — and unlike most long-wear lip color, there is no drying alcohol in the formula at all.

Red 27 Lake (CI 45410)

The pH-responsive dye behind the three color-shifting shades. It reacts to the natural warmth and pH of your lips, which is why Midnight Magic, Glow Up and Barely Blushing settle into a slightly different tone on everyone. Synthetic rather than carmine — so the color is genuinely vegan.

Bentonite

A naturally occurring clay that holds the pigment in even suspension. It is why the color goes on smooth and builds evenly instead of separating in the tube or applying patchy.

This is beautiful! Color was as pictured and the shine it gives is great. You might have to layer it, and it's not a typical stain left behind - It's more a blush than a true 'stain.'
